Sattvic Toastmasters Club: Manifestation

In the meeting, Toastmaster Adi welcomed everyone to the Sattvic Toastmasters Club for healthy living, emphasizing the club's focus on wellness and healthy living. Toastmaster Shahid then introduced the theme of the meeting, "Manifestation," and invited the guest speaker, Toastmaster J.K. Arora, an entrepreneur and winner of multiple 5 AM Morning Wake Up Clubs. Toastmaster J.K. Arora shared his personal journey of manifestation, highlighting the importance of aligning with the universe's plan and the power of manifestation in achieving personal goals. The meeting also featured a TAG team consisting of a Timer, Ah-counter, and the Grammarian, who evaluated the speeches and presentations throughout the meeting. The first speaker, Toastmaster Gurnaaz, delivered a speech titled "Power of Us," aiming to inspire self-awareness and the power of unity.

Power of Connection and Support

In the meeting, TM Gurnaaz Kaur discussed the power of connection and support, using personal anecdotes to illustrate the importance of collaboration and encouragement. TM Gurnaaz Kaur emphasized that the power of "us" is not just an idea, but a reality that can be felt through shared stories and connections. The meeting also featured an impactful speech by Vikram, who shared his experiences of childhood and offered three tips for parents on how to create a strong emotional connection with their children. DTM Noor then called on DTM Saurabh Tiwari to speak on the topic "Are we defined by our actions, thoughts, or the way others receive us?" Saurabh shared two personal anecdotes to illustrate his point that it's our actions that ultimately define us.

The group discussed various topics, including personal experiences and the importance of waking up early. DTM Saurabh shared his personal experience of waking up early and the benefits it brought to his life. Tulsi also shared her experience of waking up early and how it has impacted her life. The group also discussed the importance of sacrifice in children's development, with Vidya emphasizing the role of parents in this process. The meeting also touched on the topic of parenting, with Amarnadh discussing the importance of creativity and growth, and Adi emphasizing the need to know the truth, even if it's painful. Finally, Vikram shared his experience of raising his children and the importance of early attachment between parents and children. DTM Noor summarized the key takeaways from the table topic session, emphasizing the importance of personal experiences and key takeaways for the audience.

Evaluation Session

The meeting then proceeded to the evaluation of speeches. Toastmaster Shahid evaluated Toastmaster Gurnaaz's speech, highlighting the power of others in shaping our lives and suggesting improvements for future speeches. DTM Noor evaluated Toastmaster Vikram's speech, praising his use of personal experiences and his potential as a speaker. The meeting also included an extensive grammarian report by Toastmaster Vamsi, a detailed timer report by Toastmaster Amarnadh, and a by the book Ah-counter report by Toastmaster Meher. The conversation ended with a constructive general evaluator report by Toastmaster Adi, praising the overall organization and participation.

Manifestation and Toastmasters Discussion

In the meeting, TMoD J.K. Arora led a discussion on the concept of manifestation, encouraging participants to share their experiences and insights. Various members shared their personal manifestations, such as joining Toastmasters, pursuing a corporate career, and becoming a TEDx speaker. TMoD J.K. Arora then conducted a poll to determine the best speaker, evaluator, table topic speaker, best auxilary role player, and best lead role player for the meeting. Toastmasters Platform Experiences and Elections

In the meeting, the team discussed their experiences and learnings from the Toastmasters platform. The President of the club, TM Shahid shared how the platform has helped him improve his personal and professional life. The team also welcomed a new member, Toastmaster Amarnadh, and discussed the upcoming club elections for the Executive Committee. The team also discussed the possibility of an online training for the new officers, as the current training is scheduled for January 4th in Hyderabad. The team expressed their gratitude to DTM Saurabh for his valuable insights and invited him to return for future meetings. The meeting was officially adjourned by the presiding officer and the President of the club, TM Shahid.

Amar's Onboarding Into Toastmasters

In the meeting, the team discussed the onboarding of a new member, TM Amarnadth, into the Toastmasters program. They guided him through the process of logging into the Toastmasters website, navigating the home page, and understanding the different pathways and projects available. They also explained the importance of the icebreaker speech and how to assess one's comfort level while giving speeches. The team offered to provide additional resources and support as needed.
